THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL THREE (3) VIBRATING WIRE PIEZOMETERS IN SURCHARGE AREA 1 AT THE EARLIEST OPPORTUNITY. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL TWO (2) PIEZOMETERS IN SURCHARGE AREA 2 AND TWO (2) PIEZOMETERS IN SURCHARGE AREA 3 PRIOR TO INITIAL FILL PLACEMENT IN THOSE AREAS. THE PIEZOMETERS WILL CONSIST OF A SEALED VIBRATING WIRE TRANSDUCER INSTALLED AT A DEPTH OF APPROXIMATELY 25 FEET BELOW THE EXISTING GROUND SURFACE, GROUT SEALED IN-PLACE, AND PROVIDED A 2 DIAMETER PVC RISER TUBE EXTENDED ABOUT TEN (10) FEET ABOVE THE EXISTING GROUND SURFACE TO PROTECT THE TRANSDUCER LEAD WIRES.
