THE PURPOSE OF THIS REQUIREMENT IS FOR NEW ATLAS TELESCOPES WILL BE BASED ON THE BERYLLIUM TELESCOPE DESIGN USED ON GLAS. THE ATLAS TELESCOPES WILL DIFFER FROM THE GLAS TELESCOPES IN MANY RESPECTS INCLUDING SIZE, OPTICAL PRESCRIPTION AND OPTICAL PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS.
