8 UHF STENSAT BEACON RADIOS TO BE USED ON THE EDISON DEMONSTRATION SMALLSAT NETWORKS (ESDN) PROJECT. FOLLOWING LAUNCH, THESE RADIOS WILL BE USED TO TRANSMIT BASIC HEALTH AND TELEMETRY DATA TO A LARGE EXISTING NETWORK OF GROUND ASSETS. THE ESDN PROJECT REQUIRES A UHF BEACON FOR WHICH NASA ARC HAS INSTITUTIONAL EXPERIENCE WITH TO FACILITATE THE PROCESS FOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND INTEGRATION.
