IGF::OT::IGF THE ONLINE SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS TRAINING AND ALCOHOL AWARENESS TRAINING ARE SUPERB TRAINING PROGRAMS TO BASELINE COMMON KNOWLEDGE ON SEXUAL ASSAULT AND ALCOHOL ISSUES, MISCONCEPTIONS, THAT BETTER ILLUSTRATE THE PROBLEM. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES FOR CLEAR METRICS OF KNOWLEDGE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PROGRAM AND THE END RESULT WHICH DENOTES THE GAIN IN KNOWLEDGE BY THE MIDSHIPMEN. THE SEXUAL ASSAULT PREVENTION PROGRAM WAS PILOT TESTED ON 10 MIDSHIPMEN, AND AFTER FEEDBACK IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE PROGRAM IS BENEFICIAL AND WILL PROVIDE FOR A MUCH BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF SEXUAL ASSAULT AND HOW TO PREVENT BEING A VICTIM OR AN OFFENDER. THE TRAINING WAS ALSO COORDINATED WITH THE COMMANDANT TO ENSURE THAT STUDENTS WILL HAVE TIME TO COMPLETE THROUGHOUT THE ACADEMIC SCHOOL YEAR. THE PROGRAMS WILL BE FURTHER ADMINISTRATED BY THE SARC TO ENSURE THAT IF STUDENTS FAIL THE POST TEST, THEY WILL RECEIVE A SCHEDULED CLASSROOM TRAINING TO CLARIFY SEXUAL ASSAULT AND ALCOHOL AWARENESS.
