RELAY MODULES IN THE RELIGIOUS CENTER AND SLC CIRCUITS TO THEM SHALL REMAIN IN PLACE. REMOVE PROGRAMMING ASSOCIATED WITH THESE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM INTERCONNECTIONS FROM BOTH FIRE ALARM PANELS AND FROM THE EXISTING MONACO TRANSCEIVER IN THE RELIGIOUS CENTER. 2. INSTALL A NEW SMOKE DETECTOR IN THE RELIGIOUS CENTER FIRE ALARM SYSTEM ON THE 116 CORRIDOR SIDE OF THE NEW DOOR TO NEW CORRIDOR 118. THIS DETECTOR SHALL RELEASE THE DOOR HOLD OPEN ON THE DOOR BETWEEN 116 AND 118. NOTE THAT THE DETECTOR IN CORRIDOR 116 SHALL ALSO RELEASE THIS DOOR. VERIFY THIS MODIFICATION OF THE EXISTING ALARM SYSTEM BY TESTING IT PLUS 10 PERCENT OF THE EXISTING DEVICES WITH THE CONTRACTING OFFICER'S REPRESENTATIVE AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT REPRESENTATIVE. 3. PROVIDE ALL MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT AND LABOR TO INSTALL A NEW MONACO BT-XF TRANSCEIVER TO TRANSMIT ALARM, SUPERVISORY AND TROUBLE SIGNALS FROM THE EXISTING FAMILY LIFE CENTER FIRE ALARM PANEL TO THE FORT WAINWRIGHT FIRE DEPARTMENT. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THE CORRECT INSTALLATION OF THE NEW TRANSCEIVER BY TESTING 10 PERCENT OF THE EXISTING DEVICES WITH THE CONTRACTING OFFICER'S REPRESENTATIVE AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT REPRESENTATIVE. THE MINIMUM TRANSMISSION ZONES SHALL BE WATER FLOW (ALARM), SMOKE DETECTOR (ALARM), PULL STATION (ALARM), MNS ACTIVATION (SUPERVISORY), SPRINKLER TAMPER SWITCH (SUPERVISORY), GENERAL SUPERVISORY, GENERAL TROUBLE AND A SPARE ZONE INCLUDING NECESSARY RELAYS AND HARDWARE IN THE FIRE ALARM PANEL AND TRANSMITTER PANEL. 4. MOUNT THE TRANSMITTER ANTENNA ON THE GABLE END OF THE BUILDING (CLOSEST TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT) WHERE THERE IS A PITCHED ROOF TO PREVENT DAMAGE FROM ICE BUILDUP. EACH ANTENNA SHALL BE MOUNTED A MINIMUM OF 6 INCHES ABOVE THE ROOF LINE AND MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY (NUT AND BOLT) TO WITHSTAND THE WIND LOAD. MOUNTING THE BRACKET USING SCREWS THROUGH THE BUILDINGS METAL SKIN IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CUTTING EACH ANTENNA TO ITS PROPER LENGTH IN ORDER TO MATCH THE FREQUENCY AND TRANSMIT CORRECTLY. EACH ANTENNA CABLE MUST HAVE A LIGHTNING ARRESTER INSTALLED INLINE, IN A WEATHERPROOF BOX. EACH ASSEMBLY MUST BE PROPERLY GROUNDED PER MANUFACTURER SPECIFICATIONS.
