ITEM 16440(1) - ADJUST ITEM PER CONTRACTOR'S PROPOSAL TO CHANGE ITEM, THEREBY CAUSING FEWER DISTURBANCES AND IMPROVING THE OVERALL PROJECT OUTCOME. RESULT IS A DECREASE OF $2,350.00. V. FURNISH AND INSTALL A REPLACEMENT HYDRANT VALVE AS NEEDED FOR WATER SYSTEM REHABILITATION. RESULT IS AN INCREASE OF $162.00. C. EXTEND THE PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE FROM 08/23/2010 THROUGH 05/11/2012 TO 08/23/2010 THROUGH 06/26/2012. THE PURPOSE OF THE TIME EXTENSION IS TO ALLOW FOR THE CONTRACTOR TO COMPLETE REMAINING WORK NOT PERFORMED BY 05/11/2012. 2. BY SIGNING THIS SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT, THE CONTRACTOR HEREBY RELEASES THE GOVERNMENT FROM FUTURE EQUITABLE ADJUSTMENTS ATTRIBUTABLE TO THE CHANGES HEREIN. THE TOTAL COST OF THIS CONTRACT HAS INCREASED FROM $99,990.00 BY $2,357.00 TO $102,347.00.
