"OTHER FUNCTIONS" - THE PURPOSE OF THIS CONTRACT IS TO PROVIDE DIRECT FIELD MAINTENANCE SUPPORT AND OTHER SERVICES TO THE TRANSMITTER SYSTEMS IN THE STATE OF NEBRASKA FOR THE NOAA WEATHER RADIO (NWR) NETWORK. THE NWR PROVIDES CONTINUOUS TRANSMISSIONS OF RECORDED WEATHER AND APPROPRIATE ALL HAZARDS WARNING INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC. THIS MODIFICATION EXERCISES THE GOVERNMENT'S RIGHT TO PROCURE THESE SERVICES DURING OPTION PERIOD 2 FROM APRIL 1, 2012 THROUGH MARCH 31, 2013.
